Fast, Easy, and Accurate

A manufacturer sought to decrease their time-to-market for one of their most popular products.   Based on discussions with their CAD managers about product features, the nature of their manufacturing process, the vocabulary used by those who make reference to the drawings, and desired drawing standards, the following program is now in place.   A)  The dialog box shown below prompts the user for the appropriate information needed to define    the product and its features:

B)  Upon exiting the dialog box, the program generates a drawing based on the information            provided by the user (see below). C)  Dimensions and notes are automatically inserted. D)  Appropriate areas of the title block are automatically completed. E)  Information is compiled and saved re: materials and costs.

F)  A solid model is created for engineering analysis (see below).
